How Does a Web Project Work?

From the first idea to go-live: how a web project works at Adlegio — in 4 clearly defined phases.

Every project at Adlegio goes through four phases. That way you always know where you stand — and there are no surprises.

Phase 1: Discovery (1 week)

We get to know your business. What are your goals? Who are your customers? What should the website achieve? At the end of this phase we have a clear picture of what needs to be built.

Outcome: Requirements document with scope, timeline and price.

Phase 2: Concept (1–2 weeks)

We design the page structure, define the content and create the first design drafts. You see early on how the site will look and feel — before we move into development.

Outcome: Wireframes, design direction and content plan.

Phase 3: Build (2–6 weeks)

The actual development. We work in weekly cycles with live demos. You see the progress every week and can give feedback before we continue building.

Outcome: Finished website on a staging server for testing.

Phase 4: Launch & Support (ongoing)

Go-live, DNS switch, final tests. After that, ongoing support begins: hosting, updates, backups, support. All included in the monthly subscription.

Outcome: Your website is live and continuously looked after.

What happens after the launch?

The website is not a finished product — it keeps evolving. New pages, new features, optimisations based on real user data. At Adlegio this is part of the service, not a new project.
